The Director General of NatCa, <strong>Amara Brewah<\/strong>, led a <strong>significant donation drive<\/strong>, distributing over <strong>60 large bags of 25kg rice<\/strong> to <strong>mosques and churches<\/strong> across the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative was aimed at <strong>providing much-needed support<\/strong> to religious communities during the <strong>sacred fasting period<\/strong>, a time of spiritual reflection and devotion observed by both <strong>Muslims and Christians<\/strong> in Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beneficiary Religious Institutions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The donation extended across <strong>multiple religious centers<\/strong>, ensuring that both <strong>Islamic and Christian communities<\/strong> benefited from this humanitarian effort. Among the <strong>mosques<\/strong> that received the food supplies were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Masjid Ilmo Zikre Mosque<\/strong> \u2013 Hill Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Masjid Muqadas<\/strong> \u2013 Wilberforce Barracks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Masjid Fatima<\/strong> \u2013 Rogbangba<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Simultaneously, several <strong>churches<\/strong> were also beneficiaries, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saint Paul\u2019s Major Seminary Catholic Church<\/strong> \u2013 Regent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church<\/strong> \u2013 Lumley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Saint Luke\u2019s Catholic Church<\/strong> \u2013 Wilberforce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beyond Rice: A Holistic Support Package<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the <strong>large bags of rice<\/strong>, NatCa provided each <strong>religious institution<\/strong> with a <strong>comprehensive package of essential food items<\/strong>, further ensuring that their communities were well-supported during this important period of fasting and reflection. Each recipient received:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>One gallon of cooking oil<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two bags of flour<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two bags of sugar<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two boxes of Maggi seasoning<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two bags of onions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>well-rounded donation<\/strong> was designed to <strong>ease the financial burdens<\/strong> faced by many families during the fasting season and to <strong>strengthen the spirit of interfaith unity and cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Amara Brewah\u2019s Message on Religious Tolerance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of the <strong>donation ceremony<\/strong>, <strong>Director General Amara Brewah<\/strong> delivered an <strong>inspiring speech<\/strong>, underscoring the <strong>importance of religious tolerance<\/strong> in <strong>Sierra Leone<\/strong>.
