In strong alignment with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs\u2019 Year of Culture and Creativity 2026<\/strong>, and reflecting Minister Nabeela Tunis\u2019 drive to deepen collaboration with the private sector, Leone Rock Metal Group<\/strong> successfully hosted the third edition of its Annual Talent Show and Award Night 2026<\/strong> at its Main Site in Tonkolili. The event reaffirmed the company\u2019s commitment to community empowerment through culture and the creative industries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vibrant showcase provided a dynamic platform for creativity, cultural expression, and local talent drawn from Leone Rock\u2019s host communities. Performers delivered captivating displays across multiple artistic categories, including chorus, group dance, drama, cultural performances, magic, and music<\/strong>, transforming the evening into a celebration of artistic excellence and shared identity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, the Director of Culture, Creativity and Innovation, Foday Jalloh<\/strong>, served as Chief Judge, supported by technical staff from the Ministry. His presence underscored the Ministry\u2019s collaborative approach with the private sector<\/strong> in advancing Sierra Leone\u2019s tourism, culture, and creative economy agenda, reflecting Minister Tunis\u2019 vision of leveraging partnerships to drive sustainable sector growth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks, Director Jalloh, on behalf of Minister Tunis, commended Leone Rock Metal Group<\/strong> for consistently creating a platform that identifies, nurtures, and celebrates creative talents within the company and its surrounding communities. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting the objectives of the Year of Culture and Creativity 2026, including strengthening cultural identity, stimulating the creative economy, and opening pathways for talent development and national recognition<\/strong>. This year\u2019s competition featured three groups\u2014KMC, KRP, and HQ<\/strong>\u2014competing across the various categories. At the conclusion of the contest, KMC emerged as the overall winner<\/strong>, with KRP in second place<\/strong> and HQ in third<\/strong>, following impressive displays of teamwork, originality, and artistic skill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
