F. Kargbo as Minister of Finance, placing him at the helm of the ministry responsible for managing the country\u2019s public finances, budget implementation, revenue mobilisation and broader fiscal policy.<br>The President has also appointed Mr. Mohamed Rahman Swarray as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. His new responsibility will include overseeing Sierra Leone\u2019s diplomatic relations, international partnerships and cooperation with bilateral and multilateral institutions.<br>Another major appointment is Mr. Umaru Napoleon Koroma as Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security. The ministry plays a critical role in employment policy, labour relations, workers\u2019 welfare and social security matters.<br>In the foreign affairs portfolio, Mrs. Jeneba J. Bangura has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where she is expected to support the ministry\u2019s diplomatic and international cooperation responsibilities.<br>The new appointments also extend to the energy and mining sectors.<br>Dr. Steven A. Jusu has been appointed Deputy Minister of Energy II, while Mr. Foday Mousa Fofanah has been named Deputy Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources.<br>The two sectors remain strategically important to Sierra Leone\u2019s economic development, particularly in relation to energy access, investment, natural resource management and revenue generation.<br>New Leadership at NRA<br>President Bio has further appointed Mr. Abu M. Kanneh as Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority (NRA).<br>The appointment comes at a time when domestic revenue mobilisation remains a major priority for the government, particularly as Sierra Leone continues efforts to strengthen tax administration, improve compliance and expand the country\u2019s revenue base.<br>Mr. Kanneh will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the NRA and overseeing the collection and administration of domestic taxes and other government revenues.<br>Mr. Edmond Nonie has meanwhile been appointed Deputy Commissioner General II of the National Revenue Authority, adding another senior leadership position to the authority\u2019s management structure.<br>New NDLEA Leadership<br>In another key institutional appointment, Mr. Prince A. Bull Luseni has been appointed Executive Director of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).<br>His appointment places him at the leadership of the agency responsible for combating drug trafficking, drug-related offences and the illicit movement of controlled substances in Sierra Leone.<br>The new appointments span some of the country\u2019s most critical sectors, including finance, diplomacy, employment, energy, mining, revenue mobilisation and drug law enforcement.<br>The Office of the President said the appointments have been made by President Bio, with parliamentary approval required for positions where applicable.<br>The latest changes are expected to bring new leadership and direction to the respective ministries, departments and agencies as the government continues to implement its development priorities and strengthen institutional performance across the country.<br>Appointments at a Glance<br>Karefa A.
