As part of its unwavering dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community goodwill, QCell Sierra Leone once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting local communities and places of worship during the holy month of Ramadan.

This annual initiative is part of the company’s broader mission to give back to society, foster unity, and provide much-needed support to those in need—particularly during periods of spiritual reflection and charity such as Ramadan.

A cross-section of QCell’s Marketing and Sales team embarked on a meaningful community outreach exercise, delivering assorted food items to various masjids across Freetown. The donations included staple foodstuffs such as bags of rice, bags of sugar, and other essential non-perishable items crucial for iftar, the meal used to break the daily fast during Ramadan.

The distribution effort was carefully coordinated to ensure that both central and underserved communities were reached. From the heart of the city to its surrounding outskirts, the QCell team was met with warm receptions from Imams, mosque elders, and community members who expressed sincere appreciation for the gesture.

“During this blessed month, it’s important not just to reflect, but also to act—and QCell has done just that,” said one local Imam. “Their support has brought relief and strengthened bonds within our communities.”

QCell continues to champion the values of generosity, empathy, and inclusiveness. Through impactful initiatives such as this, the company reaffirms its role as a responsible corporate entity—one that listens to the needs of the people and contributes beyond its business operations.

Whether through enhancing digital connectivity or uplifting lives through acts of service, QCell remains committed to building a society where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

As the Holy Month draws to a close, QCell assures its customers and the broader public that its commitment to being a beacon of hope and support will extend far beyond Ramadan—into every season and every community it serves
