Leonoil Sponsors Prostate Cancer Training for Healthcare Workers
Leonoil Company, popularly known as Leonco, has sponsored a prostate cancer awareness capacity-building program for healthcare workers organized by Prostate Cancer Sierra Leone.
This comprehensive training program, held today at the Western Area Urban District Health Management Team Conference Room in Freetown, aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of medical professionals, enabling them to provide better diagnosis, treatment, and care for prostate cancer patients.
Recognizing the importance of early detection and advanced treatment techniques, Leonco’s sponsorship ensures that health workers are equipped with the latest information and best practices in the field.
Leonoil Company Operations Manager, Reginald Sawyerr, stated that Leonoil continues to prioritize resource allocations to medical, educational, and humanitarian outreach across different communities via their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
He mentioned that this commitment is evident in their co-financing of the Burns Unit at Connaught Hospital, the immunization of their staff against hepatitis, and now their participation in the Prostate Cancer capacity-building awareness training for healthcare workers.
