APC Party’s Stability Under Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray’s Leadership

In a society where individuals can easily be swayed by baseless fabrications, the virtuous are often seen as wicked, while the wicked are seen as saints. This troubling trend has become increasingly visible in recent times, with the vilification of exemplary politicians dominating our political landscape.
Today, this trend of tarnishing the hard-earned reputations of politicians within the All People’s Congress (APC) has worsened to the extent that even the most decent politicians are labeled as snitches and traitors. Not even the selfless ex-President who tirelessly fought for the progress of this nation and the APC Party, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, is exempt from this widespread phenomenon. This begs the question: who then isn’t a snitch or traitor in the APC Party?
As we continue to ponder this question, let’s look back at the past. There was a time when the APC Party was shackled by the National Reformation Movement (NRM) and the Alfred Peter Conteh factions. We navigated those difficult terrains not through wishful thinking, but through the visible and invisible efforts of Honourable Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh, Honourable Chericoco, Bai Mahmoud Bangura, our trusted APC representatives to the then Interim Transitional Governance Committee (ITGC), and other diehard APCians.
The party went further to answer the demand of these unreformed reformers that led to the adoption of the 2022 APC Constitution, now serving as a reference point in directing the party to the path we envisioned. This new constitution was a significant milestone, aiming to bring about the much-needed reforms and stability within the party. It was not an easy journey, but the leadership remained steadfast, ensuring that the party’s core values and principles were upheld.
As I type, these same reformers are still whispering behind closed doors for more reforms after destabilizing the party till the eleventh hour of the 2023 polls. If not for a formidable political party like the APC, the Bio-led Government would have succeeded in battering and shattering the APC Party beyond repair. The resilience shown by the APC during these trying times is a testament to the strong leadership and unwavering commitment of its members.
If we have endured these challenges, it is apparent that the APC Party under the leadership of Honourable Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray is in safe hands and will continue to thrive to regain governance. Honourable Mansaray’s leadership has been characterized by a focus on unity, strategic planning, and a clear vision for the future of the APC and Sierra Leone. His ability to bring together various factions within the party and steer it towards a common goal is commendable.
In conclusion, the APC Party’s future looks promising under the capable leadership of Honourable Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray. His dedication to the party’s cause and his strategic approach to governance provide a solid foundation for the APC to build upon. The party’s resilience in the face of adversity and its commitment to reform and progress will undoubtedly lead to its success in future elections and its continued role as a key player in Sierra Leone’s political landscape.
