Africell Sierra Leone Unveils “Old is Gold” Campaign to Celebrate and Reward Longtime Customers
On July 23, 2024 Africell SL has announced an exciting new initiative, the “Old is Gold” promotion, designed to honor and reward its long-standing customers. This campaign offers a chance for former users to reactivate their old Africell numbers and win a variety of prizes totaling millions of Leones.
Nancy Joseph Toure, Head of Events and Sponsorship at Africell, shared the inspiration behind the promotion, stating, “The ‘Old is Gold’ promotion celebrates the vital roles that our older customers play in our community. We want to offer them an opportunity to reconnect with Africell by reactivating their old numbers and rejoining our family.”
Reactivating an old number is straightforward. Customers can either insert their old SIM cards into any phone or visit an Africell point of sale (POS) for assistance.
Assistant Media Manager Abdul Aziz Kamara emphasized the benefits of participating in the promotion. “By reactivating their old Africell numbers, customers automatically enter the ‘Old is Gold’ draw. They stand a chance to win a range of attractive prizes, including airtime, data, and cash. We also have a special star prize for one lucky winner each week.”
Kamara further announced that the prize draw will be broadcast live every Friday on major radio and television stations across Sierra Leone. This allows all participants to follow the excitement and see if they are among the lucky winners.
