Overjoyed by his victory, Mr. Ngaujah reflected on his journey with Africell, stating, “I started using Africell two years after the company began operations in Sierra Leone. My SIM card is older than my first daughter. Despite losing it twice, I have always ensured to replace my special phone number.”

Kamara also encouraged all Africell users to reactivate their old SIM cards, a process that is simple and can be done by inserting the SIM into any phone or visiting an Africell point of sale (POS) nationwide.

In another celebratory moment, Africell awarded fifteen thousand new Leones to Abu Bakarr Bah, the monthly winner of the “Win Korpor” promotion. Mr. Bah, who has been a loyal Africell customer for sixteen years, expressed his delight at finally winning a promotion. “Before this, I had never won any promotion, but I remained loyal to the company, and now I have been rewarded,” he shared. Mr. Bah also advised potential winners to stay vigilant against fraudsters who may try to take advantage of promotion participants.
