The local bike riders’ union, an essential part of Makeni’s transport system, voiced their excitement for the new facility. Mohamed Bangura, president of the union, highlighted the importance of consistent fuel supply for their operations.

“For far too long, we’ve faced fuel scarcity, which hinders our ability to serve the community effectively,” Bangura said. “This gas station is a true game changer, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality fuel that will make our jobs easier and improve service for our passengers.”

The collaboration between Aminata & Son and Ralim Petroleum has been instrumental in bringing this project to life. Their shared values of excellence, reliability, and community well-being underpin the initiative. The gas station is not just a hub for fuel but also a center for economic activity, creating employment opportunities ranging from pump attendants to positions in its fully stocked convenience store.

As the ceremony concluded, the Paramount Chief blessed the facility, offering prayers for its continued success. Former Mayor Sesay commended the project as a model of private-sector contributions to national development.
